Welcome

Welcome to our Year 4 page. Here we will share with you the learning journey we are taking in Year 4 this year. From the depths of the Amazon rainforest, to discovering the workings of the human body, we look forward to sharing all the fantastic learning taking place in 4HE and 4HU. This page will also provide you with up-to-date information regarding Year 4 including home learning links and useful websites.

Intent

As part of the Year 4 Hunningley School Family, children will:  

• Build determination, independence and kindness; they will develop a sense of community: respecting, accepting and appreciating diversity in the school and wider community. They will develop independent learning behaviours, taking responsibility for their learning as they move into Upper Key Stage 2. 

• Be encouraged to ‘Do Their Best’ and aim high. 

• Develop a love of learning and a thirst for knowledge where they are engaged and enthused by the curriculum.
