To apply for a Nursery place, please complete the application form online and submit to Barnsley Council addmission. You can fill in an application form online the term after your child's 2nd birthday. Children will be offered a place the term after their 3rd birthday onwards. We offer 30 hours to all nursery children. If you are interested in applying for a place at Hunningley and would like to come for a look around, please contact the school office to arrange a visit.

If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021, you can apply online for a place at primary school for them from 1 September 2023. They'll be starting full time school in September 2025.

For your child to start primary school in September 2025, you need to apply for a place before the deadline of 15 January 2025. All school application must be completed online. If you are unable to apply online, please contact Barnsley School Admissions.

If your child was born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014, you can apply online for a place at secondary school for them from 1 September 2024. This will be for the academic year starting in September 2025.
