Our School Uniform is:

Nursery & Reception

  • Navy blue jogging suit with a school logoed jumper or black trousers with a navy blue jumper or cardigan with our school logo
  • White or pale blue polo shirt
  • Black shoes (no trainers or other colours visible)
  • Flat black boots (no other colours visible)

Years 1-5

  • Navy blue jumper or cardigan with our school logo
  • Black or grey trousers
  • Black or grey skirt (knee length)
  • Light blue gingham school dress or a grey pinafore dress
  • White or pale blue polo shirt
  • Black or grey tights
  • Black shoes (no trainers or other colours visible)
  • Flat black boots (no other colours visible)

Year 6

  • Navy blue blazer with our school logo
  • Navy blue V-neck jumper or cardigan
  • School tie or clip-on alternative
  • White collared shirt
  • Black or grey trousers
  • Black or grey skirt (knee length)
  • Black or grey tights
  • Black shoes (no trainers or other colours visible)
  • Flat black boots (no other colours visible)

Seasonal Uniform Expectations
At Hunningley Primary Academy, uniform may be adapted slightly depending
on the time of year to ensure pupils are comfortable and appropriately
dressed.

Autumn and Winter

  • Jumpers, cardigans or blazers should be worn
  • Long trousers, skirts with tights, or joggers are expected
  • Flat black boots may be worn in colder or wet weather
  • Coats, hats, scarves and gloves may be worn outdoors

Spring and Summer

  • Pupils may continue to wear full uniform
  • In warmer weather:
  • Polo shirts may be worn without jumpers or cardigans
  • Lightweight trousers or skirts may be worn
  • Pale blue and white gingham sundresses may be worn
  • Sensible sun hats are encouraged during hot weather

PE Kit

  • Black shorts
  • Black joggers
  • Black polo-shirt or t-shirt
  • Black or navy-blue waterproof kagool style coats in inclement weather
  • Trainers or pumps

All School

  • One pair of studded earrings and a watch may be worn for school. No other jewellery, including smart watches or other piercings are permitted.
  • All jewellery must be removed by the child when participating in any physical education, so we encourage no jewellery is worn at all on PE or swimming days. Please note: Teachers are not permitted to remove earrings.
  • Make-up and artificial nails should not be worn to school. If a pupil is wearing these, they will be asked to remove them.
