Mrs Webb's class
This week in science Class 11 were given the task of finding out which nappy was most absorbant. They were left to find this out independently without any direction on fair testing. They soon discovered that they couldn't be sure of their results as the nappies were different sizes, the water hadn't been measured and they couldn't prove whether the nappy they thought was the best actually was. This session taught them a lot about the flaws in some investigations and they now have a clear understanding of fair testing that they will put into practice next week.
