Crocodile Challenges.

The Creative Crocodiles are beginning to take their learning forward by taking on challenges within the provision. Some challenges are suggested by the adults based on what we have identified as the next steps of learning for the Creative Crocodiles, such as learning to think carefully about colour,  shape and features when representing using paint. Other challenges are focused on encouraging the children to think of ways they can practise and apply what they have been learning in phonics and maths within their self chosen activities and play.
We are really pleased to see children practising their skills in ways that interest and are important to them – they are becoming self directed, independent and individual learners. Children have been practising their letter formation – some choosing to write letters in our ‘Office’, others choosing to write outdoors using chalk. Children are also beginning to practising their maths skills when constructing or playing in our small world area.
