A Week in the Woods 2

The week was another great success with both children and adults from all key stages. Thank you to all the parents who provided children with suitable warm, waterproof clothing and footware, it mean’t everyone got to participate in some fantastic outdoor woodland learning and great fun!

The children have had opportunities to engage in imaginative play in the mud kitchen, climb trees, build dens, operate winch and pulley systems, dig, explore, investigate, and problem solve. Communication and working together are skills that are a key focus throughout each OWL session and most activities. It’s great to see how well our children can work together to achieve a given or personal challenge in the woodland environment.
