Class 5 have had a very exciting week!

First they participated in a jolly retelling of “The Night Before Christmas” for their Christmas performance. Then they were busy making beautiful cards, calendars and gift boxes for parents.

On Wednesday they enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch. Thursday brought the fun of a pantomime, with lots of singing and dancing. Even the teachers joined in!

Finally on Friday all of Year 3 and 4 had a wonderful party to finish off the week.

All week the children also continued to explore descriptive writing, including poetry, on the theme of Raymond Brigg’s “The Snowman.”

One pupil wrote a fantastic shape poem which made everyone smile.

Some children have been busy out of school too, taking part in football and earning trophies for their hard work

Have a brilliant Christmas holiday from Class 5!
